High School Honors & AP Spanish Program

Designed for motivated high school students seeking advanced language proficiency, academic excellence, and preparation for college-level Spanish studies.

Most students successfully complete two levels of Spanish within one school year. Following ACTFL proficiency standards, our rigorous, communication-based curriculum guides students from Spanish 1 through Spanish 5 and AP Spanish Language & Culture. Instruction is based on Cognitive Linguistic principles, enabling students to understand the language as a meaningful system rather than a collection of isolated grammar rules.

Students develop proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural understanding through authentic communication, engaging discussions, real-world tasks, interactive projects, and purposeful technology integration.

Students develop confidence and fluency while preparing for Honors and AP-level assessments, including interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational communication tasks aligned with ACTFL and College Board expectations.

Our classes foster critical thinking, cultural awareness, and academic success in a supportive and dynamic online environment.
